When you create an account, we collect your company name, contact name, email, phone, country, account type, and password (or OAuth identifier if you sign up with Google or Apple). During verification, we collect business registration documents, tax identification, trade history, and reference information you submit. When you use the Platform, we collect listing and sourcing request content, in-platform messages, connection and deal-outcome reports, and standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.

2. How we use it

• To review and approve or disapprove verification applications
• To operate listings, sourcing requests, and in-platform connections/messaging
• To calculate tier standing based on reported activity
• To process subscription billing
• To communicate with you about your account, verification status, and platform updates
• To maintain platform security and prevent fraud

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your direct contact information (phone, email) with another user automatically — all pre-transaction communication happens through in-platform messaging, consistent with our Terms of Service.

4. Who we share it with

We share data with service providers who help us operate the Platform — including payment processing, cloud hosting, and email delivery providers — under obligations to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lotwise, our users, or the public. Verification documents are visible only to Lotwise's review team, not to other users.

5. Data retention

We retain account and verification data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Verification documents are retained under the same policy and are not shared with other users at any point.

6. Your rights

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted password storage and access controls, to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
